The Chief Dull Knife College Rocket Club was created for the 2015 First Nations Launch competition. That first year, they won the overall competition and won a trip to Kennedy Space Center. It has now grown to one of the largest and most active clubs on campus. In it’s first year, they built one rocket for competition. In it’s second year, two rockets were built for competition and 5 class on certification rockets were built. The club will continue to expand and develop, teaching members team work, aerodynamics, computer simulations, rocket building processes, the rules and math of rocketry, and provide a path towards certification to continue rocketry after graduation at Chief Dull Knife.
